Selama tahun 1940-an, seorang gadis diperkosa oleh sekelompok tentara Inggris, dan tiga pemuda Mesir membalas. Prajurit Inggris ditahan di kantor polisi Karamouz di Alexandria, dipimpin oleh Jenderal Youssef al-Masri (Amir Karara). Jenderal Frank Adams menuntut agar tentara Inggris itu diserahkan kepadanya, tetapi Yusuf menolak. Tentara Inggris dipimpin untuk memblokir kantor polisi, dan memasuki konfrontasi sengit dengan Jenderal Yusuf dan sisa tentara Mesir.
