Di sebuah kota kecil di Jepang, Kirie mendatangi ayah pacarnya diam-diam merekam sebuah siput. Kemudian, obsesi pria dengan spiral menjadi lebih dan lebih aneh, berakhir dengan bunuh diri di mesin cuci yang mengubah tubuhnya menjadi spiral. Segera penduduk lain menjadi dikuasai oleh berbagai bentuk spiral.
